2012 Christmas in July Lotto

Postby earle » Wednesday May 30, 2012 7:46 pm

OK, time to see if we've got enough interest for the next draw. Thinking we might draw it on the last weekend in June unless anyone has other suggestions.

Here are the ground rules: (thanks mostly to Jye of AHB)

1. Post in this thread to say you are in and add your name to the list.
2. The winner will be first valid number drawn out of the Tattslotto draw on Saturday the 30th June 2012 (draw 3229), if no winner the first drawn on the next Saturday's draw will be the winner (and so on until we have a winner), and all non-winners have to send that person a bottle of their finest brew. Lotto results are available at http://www.tatts.com.au
3. Bottles can be what ever you feel comfortable mailing (PET, glass or stubbies) and should come to about 750ml. It is up to the winner to notify all non-winners by PM of address details.
4. Beers should be mailed as soon as possible but no exact date is given as a deadline. The winner is at liberty to name and shame any welchers.
5. Please remember to attach a label so the winner can identify the beer and brewer.
6. You may enter more than once, but if you don't win you must send a bottle for each entry; each bottle must be a different beer.
7. The winner has two weeks after the draw to claim their win by posting a reply in this thread and PMing the non-winners with their name and address. In the event that the winner does not claim their win, a new winner will be decided using the Tatts draw 2 weeks after the original winner's number came up using the mehtod described in 2 above.

I'm bringing this to the top so it doesn't get lost. What only 8 in so far
Come on this is a great comp and it doesn't matter about your brews, I think its great for others to comment whether good or not so good, no ones going to insult you. AND you could win, now that is fun, so come on a few more entries.

Cheers BB :D :( :D

Ok, this is a bit lame. Just 9 players, when I won there was 18.
Not looking sensational folks.
You don't do anything to win this apart from placing a bottle and its postage up for grabs, but you can definately win something that you cannot buy.

So let's get at 'em?
Draw date is next Saturday!

Utilising the bottle per entry code, I is in, although this does mean having to brew something that will be drinkable within a 'short' time frame. Brews of late have been endeavours into the ageing process.
