It is times like these that I need to try really hard to maintain the tone around here...

[EDIT: added words and (hopefully) intelligibility.]

Hey Sonny, don't listen to them, those Russell Morris clips were excellent. Perfect music to sing along to while drinking. :D

Russel Morris is a god. Still tours connstantly with Brian Cadd and Darryl Cotton. Keep your ear to the ground and you might be able to catch them at an RSL or Leagues club near you.

Just to prove I don't need to be drunk to embarrass myself:

Just to be perfectly clear, I had already typed out a minor diatribe before I even clicked any of the links - then I thought I'd better click the links to be sure and realised I was wasting my time.

As hyjak says, beyond hope.

Yeh, I was having a rockin' good time in the den last night. It all begun whilst playing Darryl Cotton tributes and downing a few dark ales. Cheers for the support, I guess it may take all tastes around these here parts?

RIP Darryl.

Simply, it's nice to share some good vibes, especially as music can tell a lot about the person. So I'd like to hear what others like to hear, particularly when you're chilling alone with a good homebrew in the shed, maybe even whilst watching the night sky on the back verandah.

But first, I have a couple of toned downed tributes for Bum to enjoy.

As already mentioned, I took significant issue with this thread long before I knew what music you were even talking about (which is ghastly but that is beside the point).

Seems I'll be needing a magic shovel if I'm gunna catch Daryl Cotton any time soon. Damn shame. :(

I've already posted some links to the kind of music I listen to when drinking. If I just wanted to upset Bum and deliberately bring the tone down I can do significantly worse.

Yes, I'm kidding. I rarely if ever listen to the first set of links, but since the topic was beer drinking music I thought it appropriate.

Justin Hawkins and Weird Al? Only for comic relief. Sadly some people just can't see the humour in Justin Hawkins riding a flying tiger or wearing a pubic tattoo exposing, tassled catsuit. I feel sorry for such people as they are surely missing out.
