The interesting thing is that the latest figures are VB on 12.2% and XXXX Gold on 11.9% (for a total of 24.1% of the beer market), while in April 2012 it was 12.3% to 12.4% (24.7% total) and in April 2011 it was 13.7% to 11.7% (25.4% total).
So, overall the share of the market that VB and XXXX Gold jointly hold is declining, in a declining beer market.
Let's hope some of the market share has gone to some decent beer.
