There will indeed be a "melbourne" crawl. Last year there were drinkers in Collingwood - but also about 25 of us did a bus-trip crawl out through Diggers Rest, Woodend, Kyneton, Trentham and more - discussion continues about what the "Melbourne" crawl should be this year.

Just a little update to let you know how things are progressing with the crawl – with a little over 6 weeks to go the South African contingent has left all others in their wake at the moment! Aruba has joined the crawl this week meaning that we now have South America on board again this year. T-shirts are being planned and the granddaddy of the crawl – Melbourne Australia is starting to vaguely get its act together.

We would welcome many more participants so if you are not already crawling on May 31st why not get involved – more details over here:

Perhaps we should produce underwear instead...if all you are planning to wear is a tee-shirt....

If you did the football sock, everyone would just do abbey road poses all night.

Good point (literally). But we don't have any roads to cross in Canberra.

Sounds like we need the Chaser on the case! They are the only ones who can get away with anything around the parliment.

Doesn't everything in Canberra go around in circles?

Only if one of it's feet is nailed to the floor.

I advocate nailing both its feet to the floor

Hi Everyone,

Just a very quick update to say thanks to those who have responded with updates as to when and where they will be crawling – and an even bigger thanks to those who have encouraged their family and friends to join in.

This week we welcomed more venues in South Africa, Austria, Germany and Australia.

We now have 27 venues in 23 cities in 7 countries on 5 continents participating – this is great – but a long way behind where we have been previously so please get involved if you have not already done so – just email us where you are going to be on the day and of course ask any questions you might have – pyssedas@yahoo.com

We currently have 15 t-shirts ordered – which is below what we need to make the venture economically viable – if you haven’t ordered one – or you want to know more please let me know ASAP

Hi Everyone – just a quick update – to let you know that we now stand at:
5 CONTINENTS – 7 COUNTRIES – 28 CITIES – 79 VENUES
One week left until we will finalise the t-shirt design! This means that if you want to have your crawl/pub/town included in the design you have to let us know by the end of Monday the 7th May. Similarly if you want a shirt now is the time to confirm your order

For a full update and full list of venues head over to the crawl forum:

Just a very quick reminder to those people who have yet to register their venues that we need to know them by the end of this weekend for them to be included on the t-shirts

Similarly shirt orders need to be paid for by the end of the weekend

Questions/Answers and assorted other crises over at the crawl forum:

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick update on where we are at – in the last week or so we have had substantial crawls join us from St Albans in the UK and Renton in Washington USA. As well as Manila [meaning that Asia is now ticked off our list] and confirmation of venues in Melbourne and some other venues as well.

We are now up to 6 continents, 10 countries, 42 cities, 122 venues. A bit behind our total of last year, but we are closing the gap fast. If you haven’t yet joined/rejoined the crawl post us a message!

T-shirts are now off at the manufacturers, and attention is turning to our free crawlers booklets – all contributions welcome.

As ever more information is over at our little forum:
