love to Dogger, but the tyranny of distance and oh yeah bloody school camp means i can't!!

Shame shingling a roof would be a new experience, also would have to be better than managing 130 11yr olds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I must be bloody insane)

Grabman,

By the sound of that you're going to be in serious need of a beer or seventeen by the time you get back.

Plenty of sympathy.

Dogger, although we can't be there in person, perhaps we could get people to congregate wherever beer is sold and/or otherwise consumed, and be with you in spirit. Of course, it would help if you were to arrange some sort of funds transfer to oil the wheels, so to speak :-)

DD,

How about you float a cuppla dozen of those large Grolsch Bottles you spoke of recently into my hemisphere and I'll send you a Commiserations Post Card for having to Shingle said Roof all weekend.

Hmmm.. Shingles.

Isn't that a condition that afflicts the elderly.

Boys I'm working on the beer etc, the boss just confirmed drinks on her at the end of camp!

Wonder if Belgian Beer Cafe is on the cards?
