What are you drinking now?

Postby Oliver » Friday Dec 18, 2009 7:33 pm

I'm having a Cooper's Pale Ale.

Have I ever mentioned that I love beer?

Bum, where did you get the dogfish head from?

I'm drinking cooper best extra stout at the pub and my new APA (cascade & sauvin) at home.

Purvis Cellars. They have a online store, give them a Google.

However, I don't think this beer was worth the ludicrous price of admission - but that's for you to decide. They're also selling Sierra Nevada Torpedo at the moment and that is a vastly better beer, IMO.

I know i'm at the other end of the globe to most of you blokes.
But I've just enjoyed three quarters of a litre of a northern French beer - Septanque Cinq Blonde . Which is a nice, warm and slightly sweet brew with a real hop kick that offers 7.5 % ABV. This is typical of northern French and Belgian brews which climb up to 18% ABV and all taste fantastic.
I'm sorry to have to tell you that they are all served at room temperature - no chilling here - in a manner that would befit a vintage wine.

Cheers.

about 5 minutes away from our office Christmas party and I decided to bring my own beer. They normally put on VB or New with something light and I'd prefer to smash my head against a wall a few times than to sink some of those, so I brought in six Sierra Nevada Pale Ales from a case I was given last night as an early Christmas present.

...I love Christmas time :D

Now: Peroni (which I've come around to a bit of late).
In a few seconds: Mountain Goat Steam Ale.

Cheers,

Heiniken 5l keg.....think these are the real deal and not brewed in Australia, fully imported. Tasted better than tap and bottles I have had in the past. Or maybe it was just me. The bottlo threw in a cool stubby cooler/vest thing you put in the freezer to keep it cool.

Now that thing would be brilliant for a party keg.
