Sorry rotten but confirmed on the net about Crows and "undesireable" Hawks. Can't take the heat. :D   :D

"Best Answer - Chosen by Asker

They have learned that 'mobbing' (the correct term) distracts the hawk so it can't hunt and generally so badly annoys the bird that it leaves the area. With a hawk gone, the crows are safer so they're really doing a 'neighborhood watch' which includes driving the 'undesireables' out of the neighborhood."

This crows fan has enjoyed the season to date. Huge improvement on last year.

That said, the hawks are looking far too good and the crows would need to play 4 quarters of their best footy to even come close. Last night they played a few mins per quarter against a travel weary opposition that isn't in the same class bracket as the hawks and only just won.

Another 2 injuries won't help our cause.

The trucks job on pavlich was the highlght for me. Old school wear your opponent like a glove footy. Franklin is bigger and faster than pav so he will have his work cut out.

Tahlia was the ideal match up for Franklin and they will have some great duels in years to come. The truck will struggle against Franklin and is likely to play closer to goal on a Roughead or Hale type.

Sewell on Dangerfield, Lewis V. Thompson and Schoenmakers on Tippet all look like key match ups. I can't wait.

There's a reason I don't gamble. :(

Collingwood out would have been good to see, but given their recent history as a bogey side for the Swans they might actually make the Grand Final now.

Saw a post by someone on the sydney swans facebook page - on behalf of 99% , of Australia, thankyou.

Sums it up nicely.

Of the top 4 sides I think the swans have the best chance of beating the hawks in the GF. I will be barracking hard and loud for the crows this afternoon but my feet are planted firmly on the ground. If we get to within a handful of goals and make the hawks earn their spot in the GF I will be happy with our season. Actually, I already am but being demolished today would be and ugly end to an otherwise greatly improved season.

Grand final should be a nail biter. Hawks have to get there first and the Crows are good enough if they're at their best.

Nothing better than seeing that sad look on Eddie Maguire's face when the Pies go down. I can't believe that irritating bastard is on the commentary team for today.

I'm watching the 08 grand final tonight while brewing in readiness for this saturday

I was out earlier today and come across a geelong supporter. Apparently they won the VFL this year and that's all that matters

I live in SA with Crows supporters everywhere, they are still crying

It can be done. Pitch big and go for about 30* ferment temp. Filter and force carb Saturday morning. Yummy.

My work is full of Swans supporters. The next 6 months is going to be fully awesome or totally humiliating.

It does sound like I was brewing for the weekend, however I was just watching the previous grand final in readiness for the weekend, and brewing at the same time.

So far on saturday I will have on tap a TTL inspired beer using wy1469, an English hop Ale using wy2112, and a beer I made for the mega swill drinkers with wy2112 which is actually very good.

If last saturday is anything to go by the neighbours better hopw we win comfortably or get blown out of the water early :o

I'll back the Swans this time.

Hawks deserve to lose, just for the colour of their outfit.
Who in this day and age wants to play in two poo colours, adult and baby poo?
