G'day future hop farmers

I have POR and Goldings rhizomes for sale - $10 each plus postage (local pickup in the Adelaide Hills is fine)

Postage will be express post satchel. Payment is via bank transfer (cash on pickup is good).

500g $8.00
3000g $12.00

I should be able to get 2 in a 500g satchel, anymore will require the larger satchel.

I will package each rhizome in coir (or similar) to keep moist. I WILL NOT post to WA or Tas (Quarantine requires more work than i am prepared to put in)

PM me, don't create a list here. I will announce on this thread will they are all accounted for.

p.s I have sold several of these in the past and to date have not heard anything but good things about the quality. If for some reason you are unhappy about the rhizome please PM me first and we will sort it out. These are from very healthy plants - Link

Dr, as I married a lass from Mt Torrens (Tuck St) and played footy for them a number of years ago (70's) would this qualify me for discount upon collection?

I played footy for Birdwood up until a few years ago and Mt Torrens was the enemy.

But yes, i could give you a beer or 2 in lieu of a discount.

Doc, Doc, Doc. Birdwood? Close town "dislike" for sure, I've left blood on Birdwood Oval! However that was in the past and your offer of a beer, beers, kegs is well accepted. How long is this sale on for, as need to plan, cheers.

How long is the sale on for? As long as you need.

No rush, they are i their dormant phase now so are happily asleep in my fridge.

I am quite tempted, do you have a link (or links) to some good hop growing and care resources?

Hi I would like to arrange to come up to the hills and pick up a couple of hop rhizomes, how can we do this ?

Collected my Golding plants the other day from Dr, very nice set up, had a couple of beers off the tap, lucky the boss was with me or I might have stayed but new bubs would have taken Dr away. Leave me alone at the bar, not wise.

No worries BB, glad you enjoyed the beers. The Victoria (Rye) Golden Ale is, in my opinion, the best beer i have made of the 100+ AGs under my belt.

Unfortunately my victoria plant is too small to be splitting up and if by chance i can get 1 or 2 cuttings i will be planting them myself to get more of these amazing hops.
