There was a thread earlier that mentioned going to the local recycling depot and you could get them for free.

Thats a nice price

Spoke to the guy at my HBS. He said about $12 for a dozen. Was thinking of investing myself so I can have a couple of bottles for each keg I do. Is this what you do Dogger ?

Evo,
That's the way I go, generally a keg and 2 to 3 bottles from a brew.

If you want to see my keg setup visit http://photos.brodiescastle.com and click on the brewery link.

Yep. Will start doing that as of next batch.

...and yeah, nice setup you've got there Grabman. I like the idea of the internal and external gas lines. Might rip that idea off myself ;). So are you cool with me stealing your fridge pics and whacking them up on flowersdraught.com ?

go for your life Evo, whack em up for the world to see.

The external gas line is a real bonus when cleaning kegs! Don't need to leave fridge open etc and with long line on beer gun can shoot all the crap straight outside and down the drain!
