Great Value beer hardware

Postby svyturys » Friday Oct 10, 2008 5:28 pm

I've been lurking around a lot of HB shops lately and have noticed some amazing price discrepancies.
A bench top capper could be $60.00 or it could be $40.00.
Bottle trees could be $42.00 (60 bottles) or $30.00 (80 bottles)
So, in order to get a "Superautomatica" bench top capper for $40.00 or an '80' bottle tree for $30.00 head for Cellarplus.
I think that they only have stores in Melbourne but they seem to do mail order.
Their main business is wine but they do have a quite a few kits...hardware is very big in the stores.
For the guys in Melbourne, they have three stores.
Epping (03 8405 9000)
North Melbourne (03 9328 1881)
Clayton (03 9574 8222)
There is one in Adelaide
Regency Park (08 8340 3655)
Hope this helps cos I noticed that Oliver quoted the "superautomatica" as being between $60 and $70 a couple of years ago.
Cheers

BTW both shops I have been to seem to have a very heavy Italian influence...as far as products go..and staff, as a matter of fact. I suspect that they must be the importer of the hardware and therefore can offer lower prices.

Whats the name of the place and where in Epping is it?

I'd certainly pick up a bottle tree that holds 80 bottles for $30.

I'm in Reservoir too

Chadjaja,
The address is 47 Yale Drive. It's between Edgar's Rd. and the shopping centre.
It's called CELLARPLUS. Near the end of the drive which is in an industrial estate.
They had $29.00 for the tree. I bought mine in Nth. Melb. for $30.00.
Cheers
Go, Rezza.
