Hi Lethaldog,

I've just checked the forum for the first time in weeks, and deleted a heap of spam messages and about 40 spam users.

I haven't had access to the internet lately, but should be able to keep on top of things from now on.

But to answer your question, there's not much I can do to stop these people, as they're registering like any other user then posting their message.

There are a few things that can be done, such as banning their IP address or domain (ie their email address), but many use Hotmail or Google accounts, and we wouldn't want to block all people using such email addresses from registering.

So it's just a matter of deleting spam and me going through and deleting the spam registrations every now and then.

There's not much more that can be done, really.
