Onwards!
So what we know so far...(or what we think we know is that)
1) The Age scale ranges from late 20s to high 30s, but majority probably falls in the 30s section
41
2) You may or may not dabble in home brewery?
Not really. I like to pretend I do, but really it's been ages since I last brewed anything...and I've only ever done kits. I feel like such a fraud. Hate to think how much money I waste buying six packs of sierra navada every second day...
3) You range from "Professionals" to "Tradies" and possibly the odd student.
Neither. A couple of degrees (BA and a silly post grad diploma thingy from Massey University. - That led to a lot of student debt and a shit job working for one of NZs "leading charities". Owned and operated a pest control biz in Sydney for 12 years before the traffic gridlock sent me insane. Currently doing building studies in Canberra at tafe (CiT), but seriously considering doing a building degree at Canberra University...probably next year, part time over 6 years. And no, it's got nothing to do with the fact that Zeirholz are opening a brewery & bar on campus...
Some things we're not to sure of are:
4) Where do you guys go to Shop (if the missus isn't doing it)? Myer? DJs? Kmart? Big W? Bunnings? Online?
Aldi, Costco, woolies/coles if we really have to. Don't really buy much (material stuff), just food and beer. Hate clutter and just keeping stuff for the sake of it. Actually thinking of selling my record and CD collection now that I have everything on iTunes. - Probably keep a few of the records that are rare though. I have a lot of sought-after flying nun EPs and Records (the verlaines, sneaky feelings, the bats, the chills, etc.) in mint condition.
5) What products do you usually get- i.e. Blackberrys, Iphones, Sports Gear?
Own an iphone, ipad. Thinkpad for laptop though (which my wife mostly uses), but also a 4g Eee pc (linux cruncheee). I also have an old mac from 80s in working order also. I keep recipes on it to justify it's existence.
6) Brand Values? we're guessing you guys go for value...perhaps quality? as oppose to flashy brands?
I like using the internet to find the best product. Web forums like whirlpool are particularly good.
7) what music do you listen to? Hendrix etc?
Everything. I also play piano (classical) very badly. I had a piano teacher for awhile when I lived in Sydney. Must find a good teacher down here in Canberra. I have 2889 Albums / 34907 songs according to iTunes. Probably half though is music from the 1910s, 20s, 30s, and 40s which I'm still sorting through/categorizing properly. (No copyright anymore on this music.) Been listening to a lot of trad. country lately; Gillian Welch is amazing:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEstpk1ucnU8 ) anything else that could give more of an idea about you? The car you drive? are you macs or pcs?
I'm very accident prone. Never had any interest in cars*, nor sport for that matter. - Though I do watch the odd rugby union game, and some NFL - via online peer-to-peer sites. Works very well. Fox can go get fu...
* We own a boring but practical camry and a hilux (ute).
9) What shows do you watch? Star Trek? How I met your mother?
I download almost everything - eztv is a good site - and/or watch online (iView, Hulu - though Hulu's not working at the moment. FU Murdoch...) Fav tv shows would probably be 'real time with bill maher' 'and 'the colbert report'. Watching Weeds, and Louie at the moment. Sometimes I watch the abc news and the odd foodie thing on sbs. I also like the arts shows on the abc and sbs. Can't remember when I last watched anything on the commercial channels.
Broome Pale Ale. WA's Finest Craft Beer.
