Coopers Nut Brown

Post by Dogger Dan »

After finding this product was finashed, I have been hording a few, they make great bases for some really good brews.

Tim if you are listening to me, bring them back buddy, listen to your people.

Anyway, I killed one the other day as a tribute to Jack Nicholas, who has played his last Major. Finished in a good style by birdying the 18 th

The beer is called Jack the Beer. I wanted to make a "Golden Bear" but the Nut Brown wouldn't work.

Two good things gone, rather symbolic No

When i remarked to my friends that the Golden Bear was making one last hurrah at St. Andrews this week I received nothing but blank looks, followed by shifting eyes that seemed to question my sanity.

I started my homebrew capers too late in the piece to ever try a Coopers Nut Brown Ale. Such a shame.

To the Golden Bear!

Coopers Nut Brown
1 pail (about a litre) of Pale liquid Malt
137 g Crystal Malt
439 g Honey
half the Hallertaur hops I had so say maybe 26 g for 15 min
half the Styrian Hops say 18 g for a minute
Under the Can yeast

Gee, you seem to have been pretty inaccurate with those measures, Dogger.

You sure they're close to the mark?

Anonymity of a SOCKS Proxy. As SOCKS (as it was already marked above) transfers all data from a client to a server, nothing adding from itself, from the point of view of a web-server, a socks proxy is a client. Therefore anonymity of this type of proxy servers is very high.: http://www.checkproxy.net

Hmm yes I second that.
Bought a can of Nut Brown yesterday, will be making it up with some brew enhancer & dark dried malt extract. Supplies still on the shelf at a few places, get it while you can.

Sorry guys,

Did I miss something? I hate being a day late and a dollar short.

Dogger, someone raised the subject of a socks proxy. Surely you have those in Canadia?

Actually, I have no idea what that gentleman's post was about, but thought it only polite to agree with him.

Maybe,

Pretty sure there isn't one in my brew house

Might be one under the bed though, even the dog doesn't go there

Yeah, just to clear it up, a SOCKS proxy, as relating to homebrewing, is having permission to borrow someone else's socks to use as a grain or hop bag. Unlike Oliver when he borrows his wife's stockings as he DOESN'T have permission from her nor does he really use them to steep grain or hops in.

Sorted.
