If you had a bad batch I wouldn't blame it on the bleach. You might want to look elsewhere

I use napi - san (it's a bleach). There's always some in the laundry. I use a half a cup in a bucket of hot water, rinse each bottle 3 or 4 times in it and then flush with tap water, then bottle.
My whole washing rinsing and bottling takes about 1.5 hours, I use Grolsch bottles. Why wait to dry? and give the baddies more time to find a way in??
Add to this the original batch takes about 30 mins to put down, then the whole process from start to finish takes all up about 2 hours.
I also rinse after using bottles as some others mentioned.
