garage sale bargains

Post by yardglass »

it's not exactly a tip off or earth shattering news, just wanted to brag a bit about the bargains Mrs Glass picked up for me at a local sale.

25ltr Pail
2 hydrometers
bottle brush ( new )
and...( drum roll please..)
a Super Automatica.

all this for $10.

:D :D 8)
excuse me... your karma just ran over my dogma.

GOOD BREWS

Very nice score there.

Was doing the grocery shopping yesterday at my local Woolies and noticed they had Cooper's Bavarian Lager on special for $4.75 a can...no, thats not a typo...$4.75 a can!!!

Only problem was some bugger got in before me and cleaned them out of their stock...oh well someone grabbed a great bargin

I believe the lucky Mr Glass is referring to a benchtop bottle capper which retail at about $50-60.

I wish my missus was as homebrew savvy.

Kudos Mr Glass (or is that yardie).
Jay.

If some one can explain how that is anywhere close to automatic I will be eternally in their debt, let alone superautomatic

DD, my northern brother, "Super Automatica" is Italian for "needs a strong arm and a steady eye". A bit like riding the pony, I guess.
What IS the pony's name, by the way?
Salut!
