The 17 YO brew had BA written , which I presume meant brown ale .
I don't know what the recipie was , but it was a full-on malt beer .
After I'd poured it there was a very thick tar-like sediment at the bottom of the bottle .
Absolutely delicious and something I'd like to aspire to in my own brewing (taste-wise , not keeping it for 17 years that is)

When you make sugar from sugarcane you do it by crushing the cane and boiling it then refining out the sugar the residue is called molasses and it is thick enugh to walk on.raw sugar has a molasses taste
