nice and easy to use, but either its inaccurate or beersmith is or I am just dumb! Putting the same numbers into beersmith versus brewcraft returns a big alcohol difference. For example kit plus kilo of dex in 22.5 litres returns 5.6%, while beersmith returns 3.9%. Thats the difference between a tooheys maxim and coopers sparkling!
might have to start taking hydrometer readings again to figure out where it really lies.
Wow, thats a HUGE difference PB...I didnt think it would differ that much....I think relying on these sort of programs only asks for trouble...hydrometer readings are the safest way to go me thinks!
heh Jack, I emailed Brewcraft, and they said they are having some rounding problems with the calculator and that IT are looking into correcting it for ABV, so there you go, maybe we should trust beersmith afterall!!

Sweet thanks for that PB, I wasnt sure if the numbers were right so I hope people out there arent relying on it to give them accurate results
