Liquid yeast starter

Post by Slammer »

G'days guys,

Just wanted some info. on a liquid yeast starter. Being new at the game I was unaware that you can use a liquid yeast for approx. 3 or 4 brews. The first time I used a liquid yeast I just threw the thing in before I found out I could have saved $$ buy making a yeast starter. How do ya make a yeast starter that you can reuse? How long can a starter last for between brews? What do you need to make it? Also I heard you can actually use the sediment after a second racking to make another starter..???? How does that work? ???
