SG 1016 for three days

Can I bottle. Put down Canadian Blondie with Coopers brew enhanser 9 days ago the SG has not moved for three days staying at 1016, the temp has been 18-22
Need some help

Put the fermenter on a flat hard surface. Agitate clockwise then anti-clockwise very quickly for about 30 seconds

Might rowse the lazy yeast to finish off their duty

Thanks for the reply.Gave it a spin as directed. Told the lazy workers about Howards IR they went straight to work with no OT or wage rise and are working well Thanks again

lets us know if your SG goes down, because Ive had this problem a few times, and spinning it up didnt really seem to help. All it did for me was make me wait a couple more days.

I've bottled quite a few batches that were "stuck" at 1.020. Did with some of them try various options to get it fermenting again with no success. Added more yeast, stirred, added nutrient, racked, raised the temperature etc. No luck each time I tried, refused to go any further. They all turned out OK in the bottle.

The airlock started to work very soon after I gave it a spin yesterday and is working slowly am hoping, will decide tomorrow if I bottle thanks for your posts. Will let you know then

Looks like I will bottle today as the SG is still 1016 the air lock is still working very slowly,will see what happens. Cheers

SOmetimes when a brew is finished and you swirl it around you can get the air lock going again. There is a lot of dissolved CO2 in the wort at that point, Swirling it will cause it to come out
