Carlton Cold is fantastic..

To pour down the sink..

Went to a party and that's all they had.. Absolutely TERRIBLE! Tasted very chemically (is that even a word?? ) Especially after having a few Hahn Premiums before going..

I used to think it was drinkable but not now..

CRAP CRAP CRAP!

that's a problem with discovering what a good beer is, the crap you grew up on is no longer drinkable but it's usually all that is readily available (outside of your own home)

Yeh coldies are pretty crap. Decided to pour ione into a glass one night and u would be surprised the difference in taste. Goodness knows how long the beer has been sitting in that dirty bottle for lol. Still not the best brew tho.
Primary: Coopers Bavarian Lager.
Secondary: Empty
Bottled and slammin' down: Coopers Lager, Coopers Draught and Coopers Bitter

Next Project: Some type of clone

only ever tried Cold once. Was staying at the station Resort a Jindabyne and they had a free taste night of it. took one mouthful of the freebie and ran for the dunny.

Absolute crap of the first order. I'd rather drink Vb or Reschs and that's saying something!

When it first came out (10+ years ago) my brother in law and I drank a slab one day and I never had a hangover so bad.
I have never touched it again,

Why would u bother with beers like cold and vb with prices of beer going as they are these days you can buy premium beers like heineken, becks, boags premium and so on for $40 bucks a carton which is only a couple of dollars more than ur average crap like cold!!!

Yeah youre right lethaldog...but just remember the heineken and becks available in australia is made IN AUSTRALIA UNDER LOCAL LICENSE... its not the genuine stuff...different water most importantly...sadly inferior to the real stuff...

The flavour has changed. For the worse too. Goodbye Heineken, Stella, Becks et al.

As for paying $40 a carton, a good HB costs $40 for 20L. And that's a more expensive HB.

True Hb is the way to go but in comparison - anyway you no what im saying , and yes thats true they are made in aus and ive heard that they taste different all over the world because they are actually brewed in every country they are sold. I could be wrong but im pretty sure that grolsch is still brewed in the country of origin and shipped everywhere else...
