Currently drinking a Kolsch, well a pseudo Kolsch anyway

Very happy with it, got that slight apple nose there, nice dry crisp finish. Glass is a bit big though, that's a whole stubbie poured in the pic

Cheers, Ed

But at 110-15IBU & 8.5% it's going down nicely after yesterday's over indulgence of Knappstein Lager, JS AA, & a few different type's HB pale ales... & come to think of it I think I even got stuck in to a few HB Bitter's aswell :P

It's OK. Nothing spectacular IMO & I generally only drink it if there's nothing better on offer. At the time it was either that or Corona

My first sample of my first extract brew - a form of wheat beer:

750g LDME, 500g (Dry) Wheat Malt, 100g Coopers BE1, 500g Torrefied Wheat, 20g Hallertau, 20g Saaz, 6g Coriander Seed, 8g dried orange peel, SAFWheat.

I only bottled it on 29Dec, but just couldn't wait. I really should have...

This evening will probably see some Coopers Bitter as I am making a roasted mushroom risotto.
No Mash Tun. No Chill.

No confirmed fatalities.

None of my beer is ready to drink yet so I just have a rye and coke for now.

Edit: My beer still isn't ready to drink but I'm having one anyways,
