Empty stubbies

Post by General »

Hi guys,

I would like to know where to get free empty stubbies in Melbourne, I'm trying to get 32 by this Sunday, and another 60 by next Sunday.

Does anyone know of a good source, or a club that doesn't mind supplying free empties?

a sneaky option is to try local restaurants that know you and ask to collect for you. I've got one in me collecting stubbies for me, get about 30 per week!

or as a mate of mine suggested visit the bin behind local pub, most sort for recycling so should be too many nasties in bin, grab a few and give a damn good wash

What's the problem?

General,

See these two threads for some ideas:

They relate to longnecks, but I'm sure the same can be applied to stubbies!

Cheers,

General,
I got most of my stubbies from Lawn Bowls clubs in my area. Here in Brisbane they all seem to have recycling drums. I have always asked if I could take stubbies and have never been turned down.

Hate to rub it in, but my brother works for a brewery. He usually drops off the full long necks if I need them, and I empty them. Tastes shite, of course ...

I am going to regret this for sure but what does fsck an acronym for?

Long story, but ...
Dates back to my 2600.au days. I prefer not to use Microsoft products when I can help it. My #2600.au nick used to be fsck, but someone complained that fsck was too close to his nick, motherfscker. So I became anti-fsck temporarily as an appeasement, and it stuck.
fsck is a file system integrity check used by unix-like operating systems. I plan on sueing the British fashion chain fcuk soon for intellectual property infringement so I can buy a stainless-steel vat and kit the kitchen out with stainless benchtops for optimum home brewing sterility.
That said, I'm posting this message using the only Microsoft box3n in the house.
