Speaking of which, has anyone tried the new Carlton Cold Ultra Chill? It's 6.5% alcohol. I had a stubbie of the normal carlton cold (the old one), and it was possibly the worst beer that has entered my mouth, apart from hammer and tongs, and my infected Coopers Cerveza homebrew. I'd love to hear how this new one tastes.
From the sounds of the reviews on ratebeer.com, it isn't too great.
I am f---ing dumbfounded. This horse piss, and I apologise to horses urine world wide that these f---ing idiots at the Carlton camp can concoct utter crap in a bottle. This shit is so damn bad that you would have to be on acid or f---ing ice or some other chemical to drink it. Steer clear of Carltons new fuckup.
What relationship does this play to that Carlton Cold that had a shot of vodka in it? "Carlton Cold Shot" I think it was called, was 6%, and as far as I know a flop. Perhaps this is their attempt at resurrecting an ultra-strong version, in a new marketing guise.
wow, maybe my tastes were off or something, cause i got through 2 sips of hammer & tongs, before i fed it to the plants. It made VB look like chimay, no joke!
Yea, the cold shot died fast it seems. Not that I ever got to try it. (probably should be happy about that).

That's the wonderful thing about beer, one mans dream is another mans dishwater. Not that i'm saying Hammer'n'Tongs is a dream beer, but I found it a drinkable drop at a nice price.
"Doc, what can I do about these terrible hangovers?"
'You can stop drinking beer'
"No, seriously Doc, what can I do?"
