Nice work mate, be sure to have an Anchor Steam, Blue Moon, leinenkugel's, Sam Adams (scotch ale and honey porter are my favs but they are all good), and so many more I can't think of right now. I will let you know if I think of more. 8)

Also I know this sounds silly, but everybody should drink an Olde English 40 at some point in this short life! Everybody!

But mainly have fun and stay pissed!
Prost and happy brewing!

We drank so much OE and Mickeys back in the day! It was to us like Passy Pop is to the kids here. But it actually tastes half decent, Passy Pop makes me gag, no joke!

Hi guys,

I'm sitting here in sunny Tiburon, looking over San Francisco Bay, having just returned from the supermarket and stocking up on beer.

Let me depress you:

Six-pack of SNPA: $8.49 plus 8.25% tax (equivalent to about $A10.25)
Twelve-pack of SNPA: $12.99 plus tax (about $A16.25)

Enough to make you weep, huh?

I also bought some other beers, including a Sierra Nevada Harvest Ale, which is SN's version of the Cascade First Harvest Ale.

I've been doing some tastings while on my trip of the US and Caribbean. Keep an eye out in the next month or so for me to post the tasting notes.

Cheers,

Oliver

Good on ya mate! In the midwest that 12 pack would cost you about half as much. Cali has the highest alcohol prices in the US ;)

Just a question to those of you who have done it . Are there any custom laws / problems in sending back beer to Oz from the States ? My old man is going to Vegas at Christmas and I am keen to get my Hands on SNPA and Fat Tire , thinking this might be a good option for me.

Buy him a big suitcase and whack some foam in it. Customs isn't terribly generous with their alcohol limits, but as long as you're bringing in stubbies and not kegs of beer, you should be fine...

Cheers,
