Hi guys,
just signed up when I saw the question raised "how long ago was the glad wrap idea been around"
Ive been brewing for about 16 yrs using glad wrap for at least 12 of those.
I first came across it in Grant Samsons book "understanding beer making"
Hope that answers your question.
Mick.

Welcome to the site BBC, and thanks for the info. 12 years is winning at the moment.

Thanks mate. That certainly nails it down pretty well. Who`d have thought that answer would come out of the blue?

I miss Victoria and all it's pointless public holidays. Especially Melbourne Cup day, which for some reason Canberra had this year... go figure.
Mostly I miss grain and grape. But at least I have Wig and Pen.
