I wouldn't bother adding more fermentables, you should get a good beer from what you have. Maybe drop the volume to 21, 20 or 18L if you want a bit more out of it.

I'd consider throwing another 7-14g of either goldings or fuggles (or a combo of both) in to the pot for 20mins.

Perhaps I'm a bit late with this reply but I would be trying to use the hops to get a bit more bitterness. That Morgans Amber extract can make a brew a bit sweet. I have used it with Morgans Amber Ale (38 IBU) and found it too sweet. The coopers sparkling ale has an IBU around 27. Depends how you like your beer. I'm sure if you do a search you'll find some links to web sites which have bitterness calculators so you can work out how much your adding and adjust future brews to suit.

Dry hop!!!!

For the second brew get hold of some Cascade or Amarillo, preferably Amarillo and try them. Sound slike you could have a great JS Golden Ale clone going.

As long as I can get the sweetness balanced out I don't mind a bit of the amber. Might have a go at this one sometime. Let us know how it turns out.
1 x Flavour plus pack has Malted barly:crystal,chocolate,22g
Have you got some more info on this flavour pack. Is it just 22g of mixed grain? Doesn't sound like much.

Amarillo seems to be the popular flavour of the month, so to speak.
I'm going out on a limb, and state that I do not like Amarillo. I brewed an AG Amarillo Ale recently, and I'm drinking them now. However, I do not enjoy the Amarillo character. To me it seems to have the flavour and aroma of fruit salad, and I think it sits uneasy with the malt character I enjoy in my beers. I'd rather have the citrussy character of Cascade. If I'm spending 4 to 5 hours putting a brew together, I'd like to at least enjoy them.
Having said that, taste is a personal thing, and lots of people seem to enjoy Amarillo. Suck it and see, I guess.

I like Amarillo - for flavouring and aroma only....I'd look elsewhere for bittering but that's just my personal pref. I find Chinook for bittering and Amarillo for flavouring to be a good combo - NB for bittering and Amarillo for flavouring make a good combo too!

Cheers,
