If I figure it right, since we are coming to the end of our winter, you guys are coming to the end of your summer ( ? ), but here is a summer-time light lager for those who enjoy Corona with a slice of lime on a hot day. It's a recipe that I came across several years ago, but I only made it for the first time today. I modified it slightly from the original:
115g 10L Crystal
3.3lb tin [1.5k] Coopers Light Malt Syrup
1lb [@500g] Muntons XLT DME
14g Mt. Hood - 60 minutes
14g Mt. Hood - 5 minutes
5 limes
1 packet of Brewferm Dry Lager yeast
Method:
Add crytal malt [in a hop or grain bag] to 2 US gallons [7.5liters] of cold water. Bring to a boil over 30 minutes, remove grains prior to boil.
Add the 500g DME and 14g of the Mt. Hood, boil for 60 minutes;
With 20 minutes left int he boil, add the Coopers light malt [late extract addition];
Meanwhile, juice the 5 limes, and at 5 minutes to go in the boil, add the limes [rinds and all] and the remaining 14g of Mt. Hood.
Cool and strain wort into primary fermenter and add to enough cold water to make up 19L. Pitch yeast.
We'll see how it turns out in about 6 weeks.

I reckon you should save the 5 limes to go in the top of the beer. They won't make much of a difference to that quantity, far better to make wedges of it and shove it in the top, if that's how you roll.
Also I think lime-infused beer is some of the worst stuff around - childrens booze, to be sure.

Coopers.
Re: Summer Quencher: Mexi-Lime
Corona is purposely brewed to be completely inoffensive. It achieves this by having no flavour. The very clean bittering hops and extremely light base malts that are used to brew it see to this. People stick wedges of lime down the neck in the hope that it will make it drinkable, and admittedly I have done this myself, but there are far better beers for far less money IMHO.
That said, if I were to do this beer I would not use Mt. Hood hops. Galena would be the go here, and you do not need a flavour addition of it. Bitter to your taste. Do not boil the grain, in fact if you are not familiar with ths steep and boil process I would skip it all together. It will probably end up putting haze in what should be a very light coloured crystal clear beer. Also like Pale said, skip the lime addition and save them for stuffing in the neck!

Re: Summer Quencher: Mexi-Lime
Just racked this to a secondary carboy over the past weekend.
The reason I used Mt. Hood hops is that the original called for Hallertau, and they are pretty scarce right now. Mt. Hood is described as a good substitute.
I agree, Corona is brewed pretty much to be inoffensive [ie, bland], and the only way I drink it anymore is with a slice of lime. When I first saw this recipe I wondered about putting the limes in with the boil myself, but I figured "what the heck - why not?"

I bottled this on May 8, opened one on Sunday May 18. A little early, but I just had to. Pretty good, well carbonated, but could actually use more lime.

Try the Morgans Cortes Cerveza. It comes with a premium Lager Yeast Already. I put some Cascade hops, 1kg of Morgans Lager Malt, and 250g Maltodextrin with it. It already has a hint of lime and lemon with it, but feel free to add some.

I've made this several times and think if you need more limes you've got either a problem or an addiction.

1kg BE1
250g honey
Zest and juice from one small lime
