morgans cortez vs coopers mexican.

Post by bangers »

I've been chasing a good cervaza and have started trying a couple of different brands in search of the best one that will become part of my regular brews.I started off with the ol coopers mexican cerveza kit,1pkt be #2 and 23gs of hallatau hops.
that was about a month ago and its starting to shape up as a really nice beer.So next up I got a can of Morgans Cortetz cerveza,1pkt brewmaster blend that my hb store makes up and 23gs of hallatau .This ones good but no where as good as the coopers .I placed an order at Craftbrew to obtain some Galene hops (they're supposed to be the hops used for carona)
and will probably get another coopers kit ,so for me at the moment or until I find a better ag recipe the coopers mexican is the one Brew it and enjoy it cheers!

I agree bangers, the coopers mexican I bottled a month ago turned out well. Considering the make up is very basic I was quite suprised. I think for a summer drink it is perfect, also its light and crisp which makes it popular with the misses...which makes my homebrewing less annoying for her...
