g'day ,
I've got some Hersbrucker pellets that i would like to dry hop into my newly racked B.R.L.

Should I just
chuck a few in or steep them in the plunger then
pour.

I think it comes down to personal preference.
If you've done one method previously, then do the other.
If you've done neither, flip a coin!
If it was me, I'd probably just chuck 'em in.

I'm not sure about chucking, I prefer to gently drop them into the fermenter to dry hop.
If you have just racked I'd go for the chuck.

i like to boil them for a minute.. cool the liquid down, put it into the 2nd fermentor & rack on top of it..

I found chucking causes the valve in my bottle filler to block. I had to take the spring out once. Try the coffee plunger, and you'll never go back to chucking. Guaranteed.
