brewing a cerveza

Post by Screamin TE »

Evenin fellow brewers.

I would like to try brewing a cerveza. Now, this is only my second brew, and the first one was a lager i think and it was crap. I think i either had an infection, or left it too long in the fermenter. Anyhoo, looking for a good recipe. Something that tastes similar to corona or sol.

I am open to suggestions of better ones than that as well.

Cheers,
Chris

1 can Coopers Cerveza
500gm dextrose
500gm LDME
add 5 litres water and bring to boil
15 gm Cascade hop pellets @ 30 min
15gm Cascade @ 15 min
15gm Cascade @ flame out

Allow to cool and add to fermenter. Bring volume to 22 litres. Take OG reading. Pitch with Saflager S23 and ferment at 14 degrees.
