Largering, cubing?

I am new to kegging can someone please tell me the difference between cubing and largering. At the moment all I'm doing is decanting my brew into another fermenter, put in the fridge for a week then keg, gas and drink. Does it make much difference if you leave it longer? Thanks cheers Turtle

It will make some difference if you leave it longer but what your doing sounds perfectly ok, just make sure that you dont aerate when transfering and it will all be good!!
