In 2 Litres of boiling water added 500g dried wheat malt, 500g of light dry malt, 400g raw sugar, 8g crushed coriander seeds and 1 tablespoon of lime rind. Simmered and after 5 minutes added 10g of Tettanger hops pellets. kept simmering for another 15 minutes then flame out and rested for 15 minutes. Cooled in cold water then added to fermenter and topped upto 13L. Pitch premium packet yeast 7g that comes with kits.
Thoughts.????
When my drinking affects my work the solution is easy. Stop working.
I would rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy. I save Champagne for my real friends and real pain for my sham friends.
Hmmm... interesting. I've contemplated doing a coriander and lime wheat before as I have had good success incorporating citrus flavours into wheat beers in Hoegaarden clones and in a lemon myrtle wheat. The only thing that I'm not sure about is the inclusion of the sugar.
Just thought i would get an opinion as i have tried to find a similar recipe and was unable. Got the idea from a Belgian white wheat recipe. but changed a few things and at the time of putting it down i did not have a can so used dry and some hops i had in the freezer.!!
It has been in the fermenter a day now and by the sediment on the bottom and froth on top it has started fermenting. SG dropped from 1038 to 1030.The last "home made brew" i did was the same, no bubbling at all but the SG dropped down from 1048 to 1010. Thats in bottles and not tried yet. Why no CO2 at all.???? i do not have any leaks and as you see it is fermenting. I am not concerned as the SG is good just curious.

If it is fermenting you have C02. You've got a leak somewhere but, as you say, it is nothing to worry about. Make sure you let us know how it turns out!
