As much as it hurts deep, deep inside to say it,.........I'm glad Cats won.
Only checked the score with 5 mins to go, first GF missed in a lifetime.
Clarko better flog those Hawks in the pre-season, we need 4 quarters boys, not 3

We got 'em boys. The highlight for me was the kids reminding me of the sayings I had for the prelim final last year. Fark was I drunk
But Funny
The mrs told me to shut up though so I vacated to the shed. She followed though, bugger!
Cats next week though boys, 4 years to wait for a win is long enough isn't it?

Apparently not.
It would be nice to notch another win over the Cats this side of 2050 though.
Maybe if the boys can play FOUR quarters of decent footy they can roll the Crows on Sunday.

I was right, the crows did piss the hawks off, so much so they belted the crows. Winners are grinners, losses drink more piss!

Still a bit dirty at the Tiges for working the Hawks over last week but WOW! What a game. (Saints vs. Tigers)
Now if the Hawks could please manage a win over the Kangaroos, life would be very sweet indeed.

Being a Tigers supporter I normally don't have much to cheer about, but last night was pretty good.

Life is sweet.

Buddy could set a record and kick 19, except he is the new Richo. He would be more likely to kick 7.12
He is a talent.

No comparison. Richo would talk himself out of it, Buddy just misses

"The Blues are gunna loooose again." Bwaahaahaa!
Ya gotta love Dennis Cometti.
Hawks win by 60 odd. Four quarters of hard footy makes me feel warm and fuzzy all over.
Buddie's left hammy? Not so much.

I'm off to the Hawks V Swans this arvo. GO HAWKS!
Edit, 26/8/12. And go they did, after the 15 minute mark of the second quarter. What a game! The wry smile from Paul Roos in the car park was an unexpected bonus.
One day I'll read a headline that says "Swans drown in poo and wee", but for now I'll just have to be content with TOP OF THE TABLE. Woo hoo!

This is almost the Hawks fan club thread but it must be said,
CARN HAWKS
I reckon Freo will beat Crows this week, and West Coast will beat Colliwobbles.
What do you reckon???

Crows should beat Freo, West Coast and the pies will be close, I'd love to think the Colliwobbles get beaten but too good a side to write off.
Only problem with the crows (hopefully) winning this week is a prelim date with the hawks who are looking awesome and for whom, the grand final is there to lose.
I hope West Coast win setting up a Sydney v West Coast prelim, those games are always good to watch. Either team can push the hawks.

I'm with Crows, if and they bloody well should, beat Fro, then I see the Hawks in big trouble as Crow confidence will roll on.
