I just received two separate beer deliveries within one hour.

Fortunately I'm not the recovering alcoholic, although I may as well be considering how much I've drunk in the last month.

Beer deliveries? Assume this is the social distancing method of beer supply.

I hear you. I think my liver has doubled in size over the last 3 weeks. There are some good craft specials for delivery about. I recently got two slabs of mixed Bridge Road beers for $100, free delivery. Not sure if the offers still on, but it's worth keeping an ear to the ground.

Awesome album, bought it as a young lad and played it over and over.

I still play it regularly. How good is Phil Lynott as Nathaniel?

Forgot the Thin Lizzy guy was in this. The names that normally stick out for me are Justin Hayward and David Essex. Might have to give it another listen, it's been a while.

Moobrew american style pale ale. Light, refreshing, just what I need after being the ceiling of the house for half the day re-locating cables.

I'm only saying this on the off-chance someone from that other, lower-IQ, aussie beer-related forum is visiting: FFS DON'T DRINK BLEACH.

Now, back to your usual Fox/Sky commentary..."nothing to see here...Obama = black/bad...Pell=Good Catholic Priest/Not pedo....bla bla bla...private email server...benghazi...pizza...bla bla bla...when you're famous, they let you...bla bla bla...wall...good people on both sides...bla bla bla...Jewish conspiracy....fake moon landings...it just goes away....Scomo wearing the red, dog-whistlin', make aussie great again, cap..."

Ha ha ha!!!

I was wondering just yesterday which brewery will be the first to release a "bleach". Witbier would be a good style for it.

Haven't visited that other forum for quite some time. I only come back here for the occasional witticism like this one. Good work.

Bleach inspired Witbier... I'd give it a try. The other demographic you mention Lob would probably think it could cure COVID-19.

I haven't been around for a while (nearly 7 years since last post  ), things are certainly quieter here now.
With all this extra time on my hands I've dragged out the homebrew gear and dusted it off to restart. 4 new brews bottled now.

Lately I've been really enjoying a few different darker beers & stouts, O'Hara Irish Stout, White Rabbit Choc Stout, but I think the best has been West City Brewing "Oaty Session Stout"

Cheers

Welcome back! Certainly a lot quieter. I like to think of things as moving at a stately pace.

How are the homebrews?

Drinking a k&b dark ale & k&b Coopers Pale (mid) at present, enjoying both.
Bottled a chocolate stout last weekend, and in the next few days should bottle an English Bitter.

Dusting off the homebrew gear again has also got me looking at the bottlo shelves with greater interest.

Local hbs gave me Bright Brewery "Affogato Stout" can to try last week. A proper desert beer (the brewer recommends serving it with ice-cream  ). If you like coffee it might be worth a look. Not something I'll drink heaps of, but I'll probably buy a few more for winter.

Coopers XPA. Never tried this before so picked up a 6 pack as it was on special. Light, fruity and a little bitter. Doesn't taste like 5.2%.

My selection for tonight. Not sure what I'll start with, probably not the oatmeal stout.
