We would surely be labelled as terrorists if we do that.

There are severe penalties for trying to poison people, you know.

I don't see why customs needs to know anything.

Call them samples or something.

As far as the wish list goes,

I would like to try the VB, just cause I think it may be the worst beer on the planet judging from the tasting notes and everyone should have a standard to judge by, either to over achieve or under achieve (I find people are happier when they over achieve).

After that, I leave it to you, no Hahn or Tooheys please, I will show my support to Mr. Cooper.

After that, I will bend to your best judgement, although a Little Creatures sounds nice, It has a nice ring to it.

Thanks Again Folks, I take back all the bad things I have said about you.

I think everyones' suggestions have been good, the only problem we have now is keeping it down to six. Maybe we can do a poll amongst the contributors, UC1...anyway, it's your baby, you run with it :)

Dogger, yes Little Creatures is cool - not only a brewery but also a restaurant here in my home town - check out the link if you haven't already:

seen this thread a few times but never cared to read it, seeing as I'm half way around the world, i cannot participate in your offerings, but i could singed handedly do the 1 bottle UK circuit.

dogger.

I'm saying this because i too have had my fair share of your advice, and i also would value your input on formulating a duchars as my 3 attempts so far have fallen short.

unless this whole thread is a jest and I'm now looking a fool..... as usual.

OK.
How's this look, DD?
1 x Cooper's Pale Ale
1 x Mountain Goat Pale Ale
1 x Little Creatures Pale Ale
1 x Jamieson Mountain Ale- see link here http://www.jamiesonbrewery.com.au/beers.html
1 x Grand Ridge Natural Blonde- link http://www.grand-ridge.com.au/grand_ridge.asp

and of course a VB.

Three pales, a dark wheat, a light wheat, and a VB. Good range I think.
Let me know, I can get them this weekend.

Anyone who has pledged, pm/email me and I'll give you bank or contact details to sort out the cash. 2 Heads, if you are serious about kicking in one of your doser thingys let me know.

OK will get onto it as soon as I can.

DD, you did nothing to deserve this, really... except make a load of interesting & informative posts on the forum. Call it karma or whatever.
Send me your address.

And no, munkey, it's not a joke- you will be next on the list.

The money's coming in DD- can I have a big round of applause for Beermeister, the first one to get in touch and then get the money in the bank.
With my $10, that's the beers bought.
Postage is $36.50 for the first 2kg, & $5.55 each additional 500g- I estimate the parcel will be around 2.5kg, or $41.00 all up by economy mail.

Two more to come, but both have asked for details and no doubt will pay up before I have to send my associates around to discuss whether or not their health insurance covers broken kneecaps.

2 Headed Brewer's posi-pour arrived yesterday- from looking at the brochure it may well be a handy little device, although quite frankly it looks a bit like a surgical instrument for ladies. Maybe Dogger can use it to examine the pony for worms or something.

Bought the VB, Coopers & Little Creatures last night- coincidentally the shop was knocking out Labatts at $2.90 each/$13.00 for six...was very tempted to swap them over. Could just imagine the look on Dogger's face when he opened the package. Just need the Grand Ridge now, and some other bits- beer mats or whatever I can fit in.

Thanks to all who kicked in.

If Dogger would agree to meet me halfway, I could save you the postage: I am going to be in Honk Kong in a couple of weeks :-)

I haven't been to Hong Kong since its return.

Had the most decadent meal of my life there at the Fleet China Shop, included cigars and coffees at the end, unbelievable........

Oh the younger days.......

Peterd tell me its all still there, and Tamar to, and the Ghurkas.......and my tailor.

By the way, that Labatt thing, not even funny, not one bit. I should send you a picture of the brewery, its 20 min down the road from me. 13 bucks a six, I hope John is at least giving you a kiss.

Hell Dogger, it has been nearly 20 years man!
Long time to harbour unsated yearnings for decadent meals etc.
I'll make you an offer. Send cash or credit cards, I will eat and dring up REALLY BIG, and send you a full report. How's that for fostering (am I allowed to use this expression on this forum :-) ) cross-cultural relations!
