grab it may be worth taking one of your carbonated kegs to check the lines, connectors and tap with. Will help to rule out where the problem is. That is if you want to give up the beer. You may need a designated driver if you lot get it worked out, or leb will need to roll out the spare beds

Hi Lebowski and Grab,
Please post back how you go with the kegs. I've got the first brews for our kegs in the fermenters as we speak and I'm really keen to hear how you sort this out. Might help save us a bit of grief.
For what it's worth, good luck getting things sorted.
Cheers

yeah Dogger, tap might be part of the problem. Hope you don't mind me filling Dogger in Nick!
Tap appeared to have a leak from around the top of handle, is an EK style swing tap not a lever. WE suggested that as system is still new, only two weeks old, that taps should be returned to HBS for replacement. Other than that we adjusted pressures and all seems well. Nick will keep us posted on how it goes!
And yes Hillbilly I'll let you know when the brew day is on. Also next all- grain will probably be weekend after Bathurst if you are interested.

Good to hear you got it sorted could have taken a long time via this means to find a leaking tape. At worst the HBS should put a new seal kit in the tap, at best replace it.
From memory Dogger was the closest to the problem blaming the right angle of the tap, the rest of us were not even close

. Goes to show you can not always trust everything from the HBS to be apples.

how are you chilling the beer sounds like the beer is getting warm before it gets to the tap this causes the gas to come out of the beer causeing it to foam trust me i know i have had this problem and its all around temp if you have played with pressure i have at times found around 20-30 psi works well too

20-30 psi
Holy Crap Batman
