gregb, the recipe was as follows:
- 2 blackrock stout cans
- 0.5kg light malt
- 0.5kg dextrose
- 0.8kg crystal grain and 0.2kg wheat grain steeped
- 15g of goldings at the end of the boil.
Final vol 15L
It's based on a recipe from the grain & grape website. If I was doing it again the only things I would change is replace the 0.5kg light malt with dextrose or maybe candy sugar and maybe a proper high gravity yeast like a scottish ale yeast.
