Yardy, this is not how you make friends mate. People criticise, we all get it from time to time. The best thing to do is simply ignore it. Not every wanker is going to like you and in this case theres a wanker who is somewhat justified in disliking you. Problem is with each post you make you attack somebody else which only makes the original posters criticisms seem more justified. Let it go and let this shitty thead die like it should have.

hahaha.
You were probably thinking clearly when you imagined that i was ok.

So, what makes funky a f#ckwit?
Because he asked a question? ( which, by the way, was NOT a stupid question )
Thats ridiculous! You couldnt be any more wrong. Funky has handled your stupidity brilliantly. And good for him.

So dont get pissed at me. You are the one who's gone psycho!
I respect every single person here, until they do something to lose my respect.
And you have just lost all respect from a lot of us.
You're just pissed off because you keep making a fool of yourself.
You are an embarrassement to this whole forum.
waaaaaah.

You should be banned from posting here.

You guys need to remember that you started with no posts, just like the rest of us.

Just because you've been here longer, or you're older, doesnt give you any special rights to say gay things like "cretin".

You need to respect people regardless of experience.

If you dont, I think you have missed the whole point of this forum...

Respect? respect you say? Everyone knows internet forums are more about building and controlling fiefdoms (yeah I know it's probably not the correct word but for some reason I just have a mental picture of George Piggins...bunny supporters will know what I mean!)

Serenity Now, Serenity Now.

I think everyone is acting like precious spoiled Princesses.

Oh that is except me, I am the only sane "real Bloke" here.

 What has been going on around here over the past 4 or 5 months. This is crazy. It used to be such a friendly place.

Shaun, well said. Some commonsense.
And where is Oliver? Has he left us for good?

Seems like going to a new forum is just proving how precious you lot really are.

Good ridance to all that find it so difficult to put the past behind them.

This is an open forum, it belongs to none, except Oliver and Geoff.

Piss off Jack, Yardy, Dogger, NT Rabbit and all you other wankers that find it so difficult to understand that new people come along with the same questions that you all asked when you first started brewing.

Let's hope the forum goes ahead now in leaps and bounds without all the precious, greater than though, wankers, that used to think they owned this place.

Excuse me?...I've never had an issue with answering any questions on here Hashie so dont go putting me in that same boat as some of the other...I find it amusing that this has been taken to the levels it has...if people have questions that need answers, thats what the forum is for...not for bagging other fellow home brewers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As far as when I started brewing...mate you've probably done more brews than me....im only onto my 2nd brew so you can pull ya head in mate cos its not like im a professional...I just happen to enjoy being able to express opinions in forums without having to deal with the pettiness....so im really not sure why you're aiming your attack at me, I've always been nothing but helpful to people like you!

That quote says it all Jack. I wasn't having a go at you for your input or for the help and advice you have given people here. But if you are throwing your hat in with the the precious bunch that have moved across to Grab's site, then you get the same title of precious princess that they all have.

I agree with you, that this site is meant as a helpful forum, to assist all brewers at all levels. But when you have a group that believe they own the place or that newbies shouldn't ask questions like they once did, then they have become too precious, too arrogant to serve any useful purpose on a forum such as this.

Are you suggesting Jack, that any newbies that go over to Grab's forum wont be treated the same way they were treated here? Unless the jokers that have gone over have changed their arrogant ways, newbies will still be treated with the same disrespect as has been shown here.

Do us all a favour Jack, put a post up at Brodie's castle to tell them not to come back here, we only want helpful people that understand what it was like when they first started brewing. Not arrogant, egotistical wankers that sit too high on their pedastals to help new brewers.

Yikes some bad blood here...

This annoys me some what, an us and them mentality, I find many of Yards posts very good and interesting and have given me a lot of ideas... While at the same time I am definately not going to stop posting here and reading the threads,,,,

This thread is really (searches for words) Adolescent (yes I like that)

Build a bridge... I'm going to post here and pop around and see what is going on at the other site...

The only reason I posted that response Hashie is its sad that this particular incident has gone on so long mate....Im in no way suggesting that newbies who go to Grabs site will be treated differently, you're right mate but I have never treated anyone as being beneath me or being less of a brewer than me...like I said, I dont know much when it comes to brewing apart from what I have learned along the way...just so you know, I only started brewing in December last year but I do understand what you are saying!
I never intended to get involved in any of this, I dont think it is necessary or helpful to have all this animosity etc...so lets just hope that all this will subside & we can get back to having fun & sharing thoughts & ideas...I am not leaving this site simply for the reason that this is where I started, this is my brewing 'home' as it were & I enjoy chatting to everyone on here cos you're all a bunch of great blokes, and yes that includes you Hashie!
