You wont be disapointed tim i have recently just tried my TCB Classic oak ale and it is fantastic and ive just ordered their TCB wetpacks: classic oak, american pale, southern lager and euro pilsner, also a wals pilsner and lager, im yet to try the wals pilsner i have already just bottled but ive only heard good reports about everything the make

Just put this in today and it (as always with TCB products) looks and smells fantastic, Little darker than i thought though but colour doesnt concern me to much as long as it tastes as good as everyone says

Got mine yesterday and what a ripper she is! Am going to tackle it this weekend as ive never done what the method sez to do and i will taking care. Im hoping this sucker will be great if so im buying more

I dont think you will be dissapointed timmsy, i have only heard great reports about these and ive done the classic oak before, i was so impressed with that one that i bought 4 more ( various ones), i havent yet tasted a bad TCB brew ( if there is one)

Ive just put down a TCB American Pale Ale, MAN what a fargin fantastic smelling and tasting beer already.
This is my 5th brew ever. The first three bottled are still too young to drink, I have tasted but yuck, I hope they improve. 4th brew is waiting to be bottled, maybe tonight, probably tomorrow.

I had the opportunity last night to taste a Little Creatures PA for the first time, man what an awesome beer.
This afternoon I bought a 6 pack of Northern Rivers Brewing Co's Pale Ale http://www.nrbrewing.com.au/whats_brewing.html and IMHO it is equally amazing as LCPA. As Im cooking up my TCB pack and drinking the newly acquired beer I can taste the smells. (if you get what I mean) I feel I learnt a whole lot about where the various tastes come from in our beer.

Im now going to order a few more wetpacks from TCB, Im that confident that anything that smells so good at the start can not be wrong.

Day five since I put this sucker down, the temp has slowly risen from the 20 it was when I pitched the yest to around 24 now. I had an OG of 1040 and today is 1012, will check again tomorrow but its all but stopped for near on 24hrs now. THe SG sample I took today smells absolutely fantastic.

What sugar for bulk priming this beer ? The supplied instructions say use white sugar ? Im inclined to not disagree with the suggestion.

Priming with white sugar is fine.. Although I use dex as I think it produces finer bubbles..

I did a side by side with my TCB APA and a Little Creatures PA over the weekend. I liked mine better.

Try bottling one batch with dried malt, one with dex, and compare the taste, head, bubbles etc.

ACT, I like what I read there, my brother and dad loved the little creatures PA I took to our last family gathering, and said Id never be able to home brew anything that good.

I have a package from my local brew supplies labeled light dry malt, however it is darker in colour (like honey) and no where near the very powderery texture of the Coopers LDM I had. More like a castor sugar type grain size.
I also happen to have another 2 TCB APA wet packs due in the mail tomorrow as well as one each of their Pilsner and Wheat Beer wet packs. (free delivery for orders over $100)

So Im planning to put another down as soon as I have a fermeter free and will bottle one with each of your suggestions.

I think the difference in colour is down to the different grain size. Once you dissolve the coopers LDM in water it goes that golden colour.

Gave two beer drinkers a blind test on the weekend.
Gave them LCPA and my APA. Both prefered the TCB ( although could be because it's a bit hoppier and blew their taste buds away, which made the LCPA taste smaller).

I'm still a bit of a newbie, so please excuse my ignorance. If I order one of these packs do I need to anything or are they all inclusive?

At $30.00 a brew one would hope they're a huge improvement on my can, brew enhancer, ldm beers that i've been making.

Yeah on that note what size pot do you need for one of these puppies?
