They are 10ml smaller than a longneck if that helps

I seem to remember longnecks being physically bigger (and not just by 10ml!), but then I've been drinking stubbies for as long as I can remember, so I'm probably a bit bigger too...

Longnecks = 750ml
coopers P.E.T = 740ml

Glass is thick, pet thin, therefore they look smaller however are pretty much same size. Good in that they take up less room

Don't get sucked in by their size. They really do hold 740mls.

I do all the time. But i only drank five of those last night, how come it was a blur?
They kinda only look around 500mls

Hey that's a good price. Might have to go grab me another box or 2. I also find they're great for telling how carbonated your beer's getting. Just give em a squeeze.

I get the impression that iodophor is the brewers choice. This is only my first batch, so I've only used what was supplied in the kit.
The kit came with a spray bottle of brewclean, no idea what is in it, doesn't say on the label. And a bottle of brewshield, which contains hydrogen peroxide (3%) and silver ions.

my understanding is you dont need to sanitize PET bottles the first use, just rinse thoroughly, i have ben bleaching and then hot water rising my fermenter thus far, but talked to grain n grape yesterday and will buy iodophor or something they recommend soon as i need to reuse my PET bottles for the first time,the pale ale is almost done!

If you want to save yourself some work, you can use the tallies and put the remaining portion in the fridge for the next day, just reseal the bottles. With home brew it works fine.
