Yeah, one or two bits....
I pour each bottle into a jug before drinking, carefully avoiding letting the sediment get in there. Reckon I have about 2cm of crap left per bottle. What's left in the jug looks and tastes nice - so far....

you could easily get 2cm down to 3mm if you were to rack, or at least prime each bottle individually if you're not going to rack it...

I have tried bottle priming, but it didn't seem to make a noticeable difference. Does the age of the bottle reduce the sediment amount? Most of what I have drunk so far has been no more than 2-and-a-bit months in the bottle. Would further aging reduce the sediment amount?

It would become more compact on the bottom of the bottle. I find refrigerating for as long as possible before drinking also helps.

FWIW I rack then CC my ales at 5 degrees and I've noticed that I get little or no sediment in my bottles. It's very handy because I always fill a slab worth of stubbies with each brew and put the remainder in longies. And I don't need to decant my stubbies into a jug first - they can be drunk straight out of the bottle.
I was cautious about racking to start with (after seeing the debate on here), but now I'm a convert.

I always rack to secondary, and again to bulk prime now. Hardly any sediment in the bottles, and what is there is usually stuck fast to the bottom after a few weeks conditioning. No problems with it pouring into your glass unless you are super keen to get that last drop out of the bottle!
