I know what you mean, i keep tasting my old ones (put 6 away from each batch) and they aren't getting any better.
Thanks to hops, some grains and a little more knowledge they are improving but only thanks to this site and the people that surround it.

Cheers :P

Luckily for me I found this site before I even started. Brew #1 is quite reasonable for my fisrt brew. Tastes quite like LCPA but wont hold a head and is a little flat.

Brew #2 and I'm already adding grains. It's rather good. Still won't hold a head but.

Brew #3 in the fermenter and I'm already into dry hopping. Won't prime with raw sugar again!

Brew #4 I'll be into Belgian smack packs split 6 ways, and trying a few Belgians.

So much knowledge here. I reakon by brew #5 I'll be brewing stuff I'm quite proud of if brew #1 and #2 are an indicator.

It's nuts that I have all this info and help. You blokes are the bomb :D

Dunno Ash, it went bad very quickly, I agree. I really cannot explain it :? It was going great. I did not move it, the temp was the same...weird, I could not even stomach it, and I have had some shockers. Especially in the early days.

DarkFaerytale, I was going to bottle a couple, but I have done some shockers before and they don't get any better.

My beers that generally taste OK, you know average, out of the keg improve out of sight, but this one was never going to improve.

Ah well, there's 4 more cooking at the moment (stocking up for summer)
1 x LCPA
1 x Coopers Lager with Proper Lager Yeast .5KG LDM + 1KG Homemade Candy Sugar. Amarillo hops 10g for 1 hr, and 15 (Only had 20g)
1 x Coopers Draught with Stock yeast and 1KG LDM...... Will dry hop
1 x Coopers Real Ale with Morgan's Amber Ale.......Will dry hop

My stocks are running a little low and Coopers was on special

Then it is back to the experimental ones :D I have so many to do and so little liver, I mean, time left.

Cheers

A homebrew is like a fart, only the brewer thinks it's great.
