I am going back under my rock now. I am really SORRY. There is absolutely no relationship between beer and crisps. They have nothing in common and completely unrelatable.

I made the whole thing up and well done guys you just saw right through it.

Just poking a little fun dogger, keep up with the explanations, being a scientist they make a whole lot of sense to me and every day I learn something new on this forum so come out from that rock and be proud.

Ta for the help Dogger (and the banter everyone else...). I'll continue to bottle into clear glass because I like to drink direct from the stubby rather than pouring into a glass (yes I know I'm totally without class - my girly mate tells me every day). Clear glass lets me see the colour of the beer and the amount of sediment and cloudiness and in that way adds to the total drinking experience.

I take note of the advice however and will endeavour to keep the bottles in the dark until cracking the cap
