Yep earle your right the amount of sediment has certainly diminished as the sucker has fermented away.
The brew still smells quite good(very sweet type of smell at the airlock!). The airlock is fermenting like a mother about 25 times a minute. I guess this is ok as the hole thing is between 18 and 20 celcius so its not to warm, maybe a touch to warm for larger yeast. Will most likely need to ice the sucker tomorrow and friday to keep it low warm weather coming.
There is heaps of stuff (hops etc) floating around in the couple of samples I have taken out. Any theories on how best to thin these?
Thanks,
Rohan

Instructions for clearing hops from beer.
These need to be followed exactly for them to work.
1. Go to fridge.
2. Get out beer.
3. Drink beer.
4. Watch and listen to bubbles in air lock.
5. Give fermenter a pat of encouragement. (Its nice to feel part of the fermentation process.)
6. Repeat steps 1-5 until brew has been fermenting for about 2 weeks.
In all seriousness, if you leave it a couple of weeks (from start of fermentation) before bottling the hops will settle to the bottom. You could always rack to get it clearer but I never do. Any hops etc that are sitting in your sediment reducer will be cleared after a couple of hydro readings. If like me, you haven't taken any readings, just run a short burst out of the tap to clear it. You'll see it run clear. I run it into my hydro jar anyway, let it settle and have a taste of the cleared brew.
If this was one of my brews I'd be planning to bottle it just before Xmas.
Cheers
