50c? Damn it, I got ripped off. I got my 5 Bilo draughts for $1.50 each.
But I got a can of Coopers Bavarian Lager for $2.50 at the same time, which makes it worthwhile.
Anyway, I threw this "what the hell were you thinking?" brew down last friday night
1.7kg Bilo Draught
1kg Brewiser "Extra Malt" (a BE2 equivalent perhaps?)
400g Brown sugar
12g Goldings
Safale t-58 yeast
Filled to 21 litres
OG=1058
Roughly $10 for the lot.

Bottled this "Bi-Lo Belgian Pale Ale" the other night. Taste wasn't too bad at all, but we'll see in a couple of weeks.
FG was 1006, so I assume there was a fair bit of dex in that brewiser kit?

Is the Bi-lo draught all malt? That could be part of the reason for the low gravity.

Very good point, Kevnlis.
