Paleman, do know the brand name of the cooler? maybe I can track it down from the manufacturer
Go to Big W and they are actually situated in the Sporting section....

They had these on special last week....I've been on holidays, hope they are still there next week, I've been putting off brewing due to temp fluctuations under my house......35 one day, 25 under house, then 23 degrees and 20 under house, it's been playing havoc with my brews

Cheers

The name on the lid is California Innovations. I got mine at a BigW in Adelaide. I've never looked back with my summer brewing since.

As others have mentioned, you can use an old fridge, but the 100 can cooler squashes flat for storage. And actually doubles for its intended use.......for putting cans or bottles of beer on ice, for a party or camping  .

A word of advice, if you get one. Make sure your wort/fermenter temperature is down around 20-22 degrees before placing in the cooler. If its above 25 degrees, it can take quite a while to bring the temp down.

finally got the fridge, and with the fridgemate, you can have it 10C for brewing the lagers, and when you aren't using it, you can chuck it down to 4 to cool the bevvies... i guess you could say it doubles for its intended use also...
