I was hoping somebody would start explaining the fielding positions for DD - y'know, "fielding in slips, at square leg, third man".
But then we also have a rugby "fly-half" - duh!!

Well what was going to be a thrilling second test is ruined by the rain. Martyn and Gillespie had set up a thriller. India needs 210 runs for victory and it rains! This'll probably be a draw... boo hoo.

The real cricket is next year though gentlemen. The Ashes. Need I say more?

India was a case of "the final (unconquered) frontier"... the Ashes is a bit more like "been there done that".

Having said that, Flintoff has developed into an exciting player and they've gotten rid of Nasser "Captain Boring" Hussein.

I think it'll be a better contest than previously... but then don't the English say that every year?

All Australians should lobby channel nine to show it free-to-air. It's a tragedy that they aren't.
