Count me in. Very happy to make a monetary contribution by whatever method is made available.

Geoff and I will be getting together shortly to, among other things, drink the Millennium Ale from last year, taste some more beers and decide on Beer of the Year for 2006.

Advertising/sponsorship/donations will also be a topic of discussion.

We'll keep you posted.

Cheers,

Oliver

I have to say, the JSGA is a worthy contender. It's my domestic beer of choice at the moment.

What was the outcome of the meeting Oliver?

We'll have to reschedule the meeting ... we drank too much beer and we forgot to discuss what we were there to talk about

Gday Oliver and Geoff.
Going to re-hash an old thread
I have not been registered for long although i did browse for some time before i joined. Maybe you could ask for a donation or have a subcription for guys (and gals) who want to actually join and post on your site.
The help and advice from all of the guys here has been for want of a better word, FANTASTIC!!
I am sure we would all quite happily contribute.
Pop ups and alike would wreck the atmosphere of the site.
IMHO

I'd go for the donation option over subscription. I never would've joined the site
if I'd had to pay. I would "volunteer" though.

Thanks for your feedback everyone. I think it's safe to say that OAGHABDC will not be accepting sponsorship any time soon.

It doesn't cost us a great deal to run the site, and we really can't be bothered with the logistics of sponsorship.

And anyway, we would much rather stay independent so you all don't need to wonder whether any of the opinions we express are being clouded by commercial deals.

Cheers,

Oliver
