It's all coming together - have just got the venues through for the taipei leg - and think i have secured trinidad too [in my books this is south america though others may disagree]
Yes apparently Water Rat is out of commission - but the other pubs as posted on the website should be ok - and heck 15 pubs is probably sufficent - previous pyssedas crawls have had about 13 pubs and they have been messy enough
hopefully a few from the board will get on board - have had a few emails from board members and am expecting pyssedas to roll out some numbers - so is looking like being a good day - will need to check long range weather
Dogger - that's ok mate - was just trying to show off your patio to someone one day

the last three pubs of the Melbourne leg exposed!
Mr Pyssedas, your arrogance condemns you! You think you can ignore me?
I, who hold the secrets of your pub crawl from start to finish in the palm of my hand! Read on:
"13- All Nations International Backpackers, cnr. Flinders St & Spencer St.
Bit optional this one- but anyway, after avoiding hideous decapitation at the helipad, why not slip in here for a cheeky $2.00 pot? They also run a backpackers' job agency here, so your dream career in apple picking or IT temping may be just around the corner.
14- Waterside Hotel, cnr. Flinders St & King St.
Ah, if these walls could talk, they would spout a load of toothless drunken gibberish, probably. Recently renovated, and now said to be murderer free.
15- the Joint, cnr. Elizabeth St. & Flinders Lane.
Last one standing is crowned Drunkard of the Year, and moves into the semi finals. Huzzah! Enter chorus, all sing "It's A Small World After All", curtains close."
(no emoticons available for fiendish cackling available, use your imagination)

I am thinking I should be doing a then/now thing. No one would believe the change. Now that I think on it, I will. Left it a bit late tonight, 10:00 pm and just dropping dark, land of the midnight sun you know. Sunrise around 5:00 am
By the way, the "Drunkard of the Year" title normally resides here along with "Village Idiot Champion" and "Town Crier Award" and it always seems to involve three of us that just can't seem to end it. We build beer trains and everything and even end up in jail sometimes. No one ever said the award was taken away, I am sure we would have put up some comotion had we known.
Not to sure what this other guy is on about. Feeling a bit hurt.....Must have a beer.

Dogger, my nothern friend, I think you and you compatriots have been spending too much time baking your heads under the beautiful Northern Lights! Take those woolly hats off for a minute, and consider...
In our country, the Village Idiot is elected by majority vote every three years or so, and is sent to live in a village called Canberra, where hopefully they cannot cause too much trouble. Our current incumbent has proved to be such an idiot he has recently been appointed a third time!
Town Crier is a permanent post, held unto death, and is currently occupied by a lovely slip of a girl called Sandra Sully.

Now we are up to:
5 Continents, 28 Citites, 54 Venues
We have 36 hours left, the proofs of the t-shirts are done - mail us at: pyssedas@yahoo.com if you would like to see how they are coming up - people are welcome use the design to print etc their own shirts - or they can get them at production cost through us - we are screen printing ours and they will be good quality - the more who get them the cheaper it is - the bulk of the price is in getting the screen produced to begin with
We still need Africans - anyone who knows one please pass the website on to them - we have all but given up on Antartica
Please [please please] give us your venues - we want them on the shirts - but are really running out of time - artistic licence more than allowable - just give us something to work with
finally if all this is new to you - check the site - http://www.geocities.com/pyssedas/crawl_2005

more news
24 hours to go! We have heaps more cities on board in the last few hours - but there is only 24 hours to go if you want to be on the t-shirt - please message us immediately:
pyssedas@yahoo.com if you want your area to be involved - or if you want to see the images of how the shirts will look [can email but not post them for some reason]
The prices work something like this - no one will be charged postage - i'm sure when i sober up i will regret this - $22 Australian, this equates at the moment to $18US, 10 English pounds, or 14 Euros - these are rounded up - check the exchange yourself if you will - but this seems fair in light of no postage charges
We are now up to 5 continents, 12 countries, 35 cities and 82 venues - it would be great if we could get 100 venues - if you have said your city is in - but have not yet told us your venues please do so - if you are in - but only have 1 pub - try harder - the United States clearly now has the most number of cities on board - but none of them seem to be able to get to more than one venue - as you will see in australia we try to get to more than one venue in a city
to check out which cities/venues etc are playing check the very updated website: http://www.geocities.com/pyssedas/crawl_2005 [sigh even i am sick of seeing this address]
what else to say - well if you are apart of the enterprise and have any friends in africa or antartica please send them these details - there must be at least one person in africa who drinks beer on saturday - particularly to those [now considerable numbers] who are getting t-shirts - just imagine your shirt without africa - and then with it on - you know you want your show to look good
ok kids - lets put in a real effort now - it is the absolute home stretch now - lets ge busy!
cheers
P.H.I.
PS - its just been pointed out to me that one of our previous pub-crawl photo pages was broken - it is now back up at http://www.geocities.com/pyssedas/12_pubs_2004
which is all just part of the pyssedas experience http://www.geocities.com/pyssedas/index.html

Africa on board
Yes our 6th continent is on board - thanks Pretoria
Grabman - shall do - did you get the message from my work email with the t-shirt designs on it?
Dogger - think it is far safer that each country [state] set its own rules - i shudder to think how much you will need to consume to get your crawl done - but being in a city with 15 pubs on our list i really dont think i can manage your 1 at first, 2 at second etc equation [i can't figure out sober how many beers this would mean for me]

The day is drawing near, time to start organising the finances for a big effort and maybe get a training run in before hand!!!
