If you want to save some money on running fridges in the shed for brewing try replacing them all with chest freezers.

When I was using a fridge for kegging it would take 24 hours to get a 20 degrees brew down to 4 degrees for drinking. My chest freezer will do this in six hours.

The chest freezer on my back verandah hardly even runs. The fridge that was there before ran alot. The walls on a chest freezer are about twice the thickness of a fridge so they are much better insulated.

Look out your bills are about to go up even more.Due to Com govts carbon reduction scheme being approved
electricity bills will rise by approx $4 a week but low income people will be compensated.Better get into some mass
brewing to build up stocks
